Watercolor Planner Page by Christine

Hi there SRM Fans!  Christine joining you today with an agenda page from my July Planner!  I love to use my planner to play with techniques before I dive into them on other paper crafts and this page is the perfect example of that!

I wanted to play with a marbled watercolored look and so I did just that!  But I also did some filling in with watercolors and drawing.  I combined a traditional watercolor set, Watercolor Twist Pencils and a blending marker to achieve the look I wanted.
Here's a video to show you my process:

I always like to have something with the whole month in my spreads so it that it's easy to look at dates without having to flip thru. The Mini Decorative Calendar sticker was perfect for that.  Doesn't it look pretty up against that marbled background too???

Being on a weight loss and fitness journey, the Clear Planner Stamp/Healthy Plans has a whole new level of usefulness for my planner. I love these fun little words to add inspiration to my page! I also used the Clear Stamp/Planner Banner set to add to my To Do List.

Be sure to check out the newest release in the planner stamp section of the store....there's so many great new options!

Calendar Layout by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Today I'm sharing something I haven't made in a looong time...like, over 12 yrs or so long time. lol What is it you ask?...Well, my title most likely gave it away (lol) but...

Check it out!

A layout!?!...Yep. I made a layout. I wanted to something different and upon thinking of things, a layout came to my mind. So, I went with it. ;)

I used a bunch of SRM Stickers goodies and just had some fun! I chose to do layout of our dog because in January is her birthday.

I placed my photo where I wanted it to be and just started working around it, so to speak. I also wanted to keep things 'clean' so I did leave lots of white.

Fun and sweet, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Fall Thank You Cards by Amber

Hello everyone! It's Amber here, today I have two fun Fall themed thank you cards to share. I used one piece of kraft cardstock, two sheets of pattered paper, three different stamp sets, two ink pads, three clear sentiment stickers, Spectrum Noir markers, scissors, and a staple gun to create both of these cards. Using the same supplies and creating both of these at the same made the creating process a whole lot faster and easier.

For my first card I cut two strips of pattered paper, stamped one of them with the fun border stamp from SRM's BIG Hello stamp set in chocolate brown, ripped the two ends of my patterned paper strips, and adhered them to the bottom left side of my card base. After my two strips of patterned paper were adhered I added my brown "Thanks" sentiment sticker from SRM's We've Got Your Sticker/Thanks sticker sheet, added my stamped image with some foam adhesive above my patterned paper strips, and added a little banner towards the top right of my card base.

For my second card I started by cutting two strips of patterned paper, cut slits along the bottom edges to create a fringe detail, and layered both pieces across the bottom half of my kraft card base. After my two strips of patterned paper were adhered I stamped the stitched border stamp from SRM's Planner Banner stamp set in brown along the top patterned paper piece, added my two sticker sentiments from SRM's We've Got Your Sticker/Thanks sticker sheet, adhered my stamped image with some foam adhesive towards the right of my sentiment, and added a little banner towards the top left of my card base like I did on my first card. Both of these were fairly easy to create and could easily be changed by using different stamps, sentiment stickers, patterned paper, and colors for another holiday or season.

I
hope you enjoyed my two Fall themed Thank you cards today. Thanks for visiting!

August Planner Pages by Melanie

Welcome to day #5 of our new team introduction.  Today we feature Melanie Jarocki who was on our 2011 team.  Welcome back Melanie!  So excited to have you on the team!

Here's a bit about Melanie in her own words:

"Chocolate, papercrafting, brownies, games with the family, hot cocoa, and kids activities--these are few of my favorite things. Oh, did I mention I like chocolate? I live in the Cascade foothills will my adorably patient husband and handful of kiddos (literally, we have 5).  During the day, I am an elementary school PE teacher. At night, I cheer on my children in whatever activities they are involved in. For good measure, I also run a private piano studio. Never a dull (or quiet) moment in our home! I am so pleased to be joining the SRM Design Team again. Creating projects for my family and friends, and working alongside my kids crafting makes me happy. My style is clean and simple. I love pops of color and straight lines. SRM products are the best to add to any project. I can't even remember the last time I created something without an SRM item on it!"

-------------------------

Hello! Melanie here today and I am excited to be sharing some of my August Planner Pages with you. The new Planner stamp sets are fun to use. I started off with Birthday Plans -- because banners and stars are at the top of my favorites list :)

I used the pennant outline stamp on the Planner Banner stamp set to make a banner at the top of my monthly page. To add color to each pennant I used the ColorIn Le PlumeII markers. Then I added the cute heart stamp to every other one.

For the first week of August, I wrote in activities using a different color for each child. Hopefully that will help me keep things straight. The Marvy LePen Set was perfect for doing this!

Susan knows my kiddos are in lots of activities. I love that she sent me the Tiny Stickers Assorted Sports to add to my projects.

It is fun to add color and images to planner pages using the wide array of products SRM offers. My colorful pages make me smile each time I look at them :)

Enjoy your day!

Planner Spread by Christine

If there was ever a time of year to need a planner, it's right now.  My goodness the schedule is busy! Christine joining you today and here's just one week of my April planner where I incorporated all kinds of fun SRM supplies!

For this week I decided to really play with my SRM Planner Stamps and my Black Le Pen!

I used both the Clear Stamp Planner/Banner and Clear Stamp Planner/Notes to Self to highlight things I needed to do and then added my handwriting around them!  I also added in the fun April from the Months Large/Snappy Sticker Set!

I haven't incorporated very many of my Sticker Stitches in the past so this time I got out my Halloween ones so that I could use some orange and used them as a border.  Love the extra fun that they add!

How's your April Planner coming along?  We'd love to see them over in our Facebook group, Planner Sticker Fun!
