Soccer Champ Layout by Emma

Hello SRM fans!  Emma here today to share a quick and easy soccer-themed scrapbook page with you.  You may have read in my bio that I am originally from England, having moved here to Ontario, Canada over 10 years ago.  Soccer (or football as we prefer to call it) is a huge part of a lot of British people's lives, as the most popular sport.  It's fair to say I am a big fan, and have followed my London-based team, West Ham United, for over 35 years.  They aren't the most successful team (to put it mildly), but I can't imagine supporting anyone else.  Luckily the TV channels here show a lot of the games, so I don't miss out as often as I did when we first emigrated.
Canada is very focused on ice hockey, but they do also have a lot of kids' soccer programs which is ideal for our family.  My son has played for the past 2 years, and really loves it.

SRM has some terrific soccer-themed items, so for this project I chose the Stickers By the Dozen pack, and the Express Yourself Everyday Boy set to make my scrapbook page of this year's soccer pictures.

I used a plain blue cardstock background, and some patterned paper from Fancy Pants Designs to complete the page.  The date was stamped using the SRM Today, Tomorrow, To Do clear stamp set.

This was such a quick project to make, all thanks to SRM's products!  Scrapbooking in a jiffy, as we would say in England.  As a Mom, I am hoping for the day I can scrap pictures of my son playing for my beloved West Ham, or indeed for England.  He could even choose to play for Canada if he wanted to, thanks to our dual citizenship!

I hope you've enjoyed my project, and thanks so much for visiting
with us today.
Happy crafting,
Emma

Soccer Layout by Samantha

Hello! Samantha here today to share a soccer layout using lots of SRM stickers.

One of the best things to me about SRM stickers is that you can mix and match them. I made a soccer layout, but used lots of non-sporting stickers too!

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut a large star from a white piece of 12 x 12 card stock. I then backed the negative space with some soccer themed patterned paper.

I used the soccer word and soccer ball stickers from Take 2: Stickers by the Dozen Soccer to create a line across the layout that draws your eye to the photo.

I used a flag shaped sticker from Labels by the Dozen Made By to create a journaling tag. Instead of traditional journaling, I added the soccer season (spring) with a sticker from Live Life Calendar Years and the year (2017) with a sticker from Year of Memories 2017.   I decided my layout needed a little something more, so I used a ruler and black Marvy Le Plume Marker to create a border around the whole page.

Layering stickers from lots of sticker sheets is a great way to create embellishments for any layout, not just a soccer layout. Do you like to mix and match your stickers?

Soccer Treat Tubes by Juliana

Hi everyone! It's Juliana here with you today to share a great way to treat your little soccer star using SRM Stickers Tubes. These fabulously fun tubes come in so many sizes. All you have to do is select the one that works for the treats you want to fill it with.

I used the Original Tube which is 7 x 1 inches. To decorate it, I grabbed a variety of SRM Stickers including the Say It With Stickers Mini SoccerTiny Stickers Soccer Balls, and Labels By The Dozen Black/White.

I adhered the Tiny Soccer Balls directly to the tube. Next, I selected several sayings and adhered them to white cardstock to create tags. I added a soccer ball to a Small Scallop Circle in White.

I then punched holes in the top of each of these and tied them to the top of the tube using a piece of ribbon.  The banner shaped label was perfect for adding a name which I attached to the back side of the scallop circle.

Now my treat holder is ready to be filled with my little soccer star's favorite treats!

How do you like to use SRM Stickers Tubes? Remember you can share them with us on our Facebook pageFlickr Group or tag us on social media with #srmstickers.
HUGS!

Soccer Team Treats by Lorena

Hi SRM crafty friends! It's Lorena with an idea to make quick treats for a soccer team. And when I say quick, I mean it. I find that basic when a project is meant to be mass produced!

I chose soccer because it's the biggest sport both in my country, Spain, and also in the country where I'm posted right now, Bolivia. It's a big thing around here, I tell you. Much to my dismay. Why?  Because of my son. Well, he is terribly bad at soccer, so he needs as much encouraging he can get. And here's where team treats come into scene.  *wink*

I started with a medium kraft pillow box. I adore these cuties! They're perfect for holding a bit of candy, enough for a pick me up after the game but not so much that the other kids parents will be mad at you, ha!

I trimmed the sentiment from Say It With Stickers/Mini: Soccer, made it into a 4 line sentence and adhered it to the box. Then, I embellished it with a green scalloped border from We've Got Your Border: Halloween and a dotted line from Sticker Stitches: Black.

The final touch was some SRM Twinery black and white twine and a ball also from Say It With Stickers/Mini: Soccer. I adhered it to a bit of cardstock, fussy cut the ball, punched it and tied it with twine.

See? I told you this was quick and easy. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Soccer by Corrie Jones

Corrie Jones who loves to play with paper, inks and stickers, especially SRM's sports stickers that make it so easy to document almost any theme.  In this case it's all about soccer!

Corrie's layouts are such a work of art!  I love all of the amazing details.  To see each and every detail, be sure to click on each photo.

And I love her journaling.  It flows perfectly from the Soccer definition sticker above it.

Here is the SRM Soccer sticker that Corrie used on her page.

How fortunate we have been to have a talent like Corrie Jones on our team.  I love what she has to say about SRM:

"I have loved being on this team.  It has been fun and so inspiring.  I have never been one to make cards, but seeing all the incredible card talent here has really got me trying to make cards for friends and family instead of just buying them.  Plus, I love your products and rave about them to EVERYONE!!"

Thank you Corrie for all the fabulous projects that you have shared with us over the past year and one-half.  Your work is amazing and you are welcome to come back as a guest designer anytime!

Year Round Soccer by Corrie

Using SRM Mini Calendars as an embellishment, Corrie Jones tells a special story in this "Year Round Soccer" layout.

Her daughter plays soccer all year long and the SRM Mini Calendars are a perfect way to note the passage of time.  Corrie mounted the mini calendars onto smooth white cardstock first and then cut them out as she did not want the mist to show through the clear calendars.  She loves they way they curl and pop off the page adding more dimension.

What a perfect layout with the washi tape, buttons and clips. And what a perfect photo of her daughter showing that medal making it all worth all the effort!

Thanks Corrie for your layout inspiration and for another great way to use SRM's Mini Calendars throughout the year.

And the WINNER of last week's Guest Designer prize packet is Kim O'Connell!  Please email to susan@srmpress.com your mailing address Kim  and we will get all those SRM goodies sent to you pronto!

Kick, Shoot, Goal!

Happy Monday! Thanks for checking in with us today. You'll be glad you did because I have a very cool card to show...it's a thank you card that SRM Designer, Carole, created for her daughter's soccer coach. Talk about the perfect stickers for the occasion! Click HERE to view these in our online store to purchase.

I love how Carole allowed several elements to 'fall off' the edges of the card. She accommodated them by using a larger envelope. Carole designed the cards using her daughter's team colors.

More cards are up tomorrow...see you then!
