What's Wrong With SW?

What happened to Swimming World magazine?

Are they lowering their standards to compete with SwimScam?

They deposited a big, fat doodoo online yesterday.  Read it here

MALE swimmer from Westlake, TX - Will Thomas - played dress-up at Penn so he could access the women's locker room while stealing opportunities from female athletes.  Racing as Lia, he made a mockery of our sport for the entire world to witness.

For some reason, SW's Matthew De George seems to advocate for Thomas.  De George plays along with the charade, referring to Thomas as "her".

The Penn Quakers, the Ivy League Conference, and the NCAA allowed Thomas to cheat women out of opportunities, recognition, awards, and records.

Allowing this male to masquerade as a female is a clear violation of Title IX.

Swimming World should focus on trying to right the wrongs, rather than provide a platform for a cheater who helped do great harm to our sport!
