I'm guessing 100% effective. Right?

I can't even have a conversation with somebody who I know is a Trump voter at this point.

That seems wrong as there must be some that are nice people.

It's just that such a level of stupidity makes it feel like I am talking to a less evolved life form.

Georgia teacher makes students wearing MAGA shirts leave class, compares them to Swastika.

Courtesy of Atlanta Journal Constitution:

A Cherokee County high school teacher is facing criticism on social media after she told students they couldn’t wear shirts with the “Make America Great Again” slogan, the school district said Sunday in an emailed statement.

The River Ridge High School math teacher on Thursday erroneously told two students their shirts with campaign slogans were not permitted in class, Cherokee County Schools spokeswoman Barbara Jacoby said.

“Her actions were wrong, as the ‘Make America Great Again’ shirts worn by the students are not a violation of our School District dress code,” Jacoby said.

The teacher, whose name has not been released by the school district, also shared her personal opinion about the campaign slogan during class, which Jacoby said was inappropriate.

“Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower is deeply sorry that this incident happened in one of our schools,” Jacoby said. “It does not reflect his expectation that all students be treated equally and respectfully by our employees.”

Here is video of the incident in question.

As you might imagine this has caused a firestorm among those on the Right Wing who feel that this teacher demonstrated a prejudicial attitude toward the political beliefs of these students.

And as much as it pains me to say it, they have a point.

This is America and that means we have free speech.

Having said that I also completely understand where this teacher was coming from.

If I had to spend 50 minutes in a class with two of those obnoxious shirts staring me in the face I would probably start frothing at the mouth.

I would also probably retaliate by wearing a "Hillary Clinton: The People's President" t-shirt and start drinking from a coffee mug that portrayed Donald Trump as Adolph Hitler.

But I'm childish like that.

I think these t-shirts will soon start selling like hotcakes.

As an American I don't think I would leave the country without one.

You can order yours here.

I don't believe this is completely accurate, but I know it certainly should be.

I am sure there are some in this country who would call me elitist, but I find that I cannot even consider having a conversation with a person who voted for Donald Trump.

And I certainly could not sleep with a woman who had done so, after all it is immoral to have sex with the mentally handicapped.

Quickly becoming my favorite actor.

I would not exactly call myself a Ryan Reynolds, fanboy, but after I watched "Deadpool" I certainly moved a lot closer to that camp.

Besides I think by the time we get to November "Fuck Trump" will be used more often than his actual full name.

Seems like an appropriate shirt for this primary day.

I have the feeling that the sales for a shirt like this are going to pick up after today.

Need one.

Though to be honest since I live in deep red Alaska I'm not sure I have enough time to get into that many fistfights in a day.

Bernie Sanders threatens small online t-shirt shop with lawsuit, for comparing him to communists.

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

Bernie Sanders cares about the little guy. Except when the little guy disagrees with him.

That’s the message the Democratic presidential candidate sent when his campaign threatened legal action against a small T-shirt vendor who had dared to make fun of him.

Late last week, a Seattle lawyer representing Sanders’s campaign demanded that LibertyManiacs, a three-employee online merchandising shop, immediately take down T-shirts that humorously portrayed the Vermont senator alongside a pantheon of communist figures, with the caption: “Bernie is my comrade.” (A red star replaced the dot over the ‘i’ in Bernie for emphasis.)

Using high-priced lawyers to bully a small business that is making fun your campaign is an odd move for a politician who has built a grassroots movement on protecting average Americans from the whims of the rich and powerful.

Okay come on now, if this is not straight out of the Donald Trump playbook I don't know what is.

And if Sanders wants to continue in this race he better grow a thicker skin because this just the beginning.

There is also a book coming out that claims Sanders was kicked out of a commune for being lazy, and renewed discussion of the fact that he spent his honeymoon in what was then the Soviet Union.

Let's face it this is only the tip of the iceberg for the negative things coming Bernie's way.

There is a whole lot that has not yet been revealed that is going to get under his extremely thin skin and cause him no end of irritation should he continue forward.

The difference between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton is that she thrives while under constant attack, and he has not faced anything even remotely like this in the past.

It looks like Levi and Sunny Johnston have found a cause worth supporting.

Courtesy of Sunny Johnston's Facebook page:

Sunny Johnston

Thank you for the T-shirts!

Levi and I support The Fathers Rights Movement 110%

Neither Sunny nor Levi are particularity political people, but clearly this is a cause that they feel strongly about.

And considering how long and hard Levi fought to get joint custody of his son that is not hard to understand.

Marco Rubio bought a gun to protect his family from ISIS. Because apparently Rubio does not know how terrorism works.

Courtesy of Yahoo Politics:

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio says he bought a gun on Christmas Eve to protect his family from Islamic State militants.

“I have a right to protect my family,” Rubio said in an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday. “I have a right to protect my family if someone were to come after us. In fact, if ISIS were to visit us or our communities at any moment, the last line of defense between ISIS and my family is the ability I have to protect my family from them or from a criminal or anyone else who seeks to do us harm. Millions of Americans feel that way.”

You know here's the thing about terrorism.

If you live in fear of terrorism, or spend your money on weapons to protect yourself and your family from terrorism, or give up your liberties in response to terrorism, the terrorists have already won.

And if Marco Rubio literally believes that this handgun of his makes his family ANY safer from a terrorist threat then he is too stupid to run for school crossing guard much less President of the United States.

I need one of these.

If I get one I'm going to wear it when my brother comes over on Superbowl day.

He is always pissed that I not only have not picked which team to support, but I often don't even know who is playing.

If he cops and attitude I just remind him that I am the only one of us to actually play on a football team. That usually shuts him up.

Rick Perry starts selling t-shirts with his mugshot on them to raise money.

Courtesy of Newsmax:

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, facing abuse-of-power charges, started selling T-shirts featuring his mug shot to raise money for his political committee.

The shirts, which went on sale yesterday, show the Texas Republican's picture with "WANTED" stamped above it and "FOR SECURING THE BORDER AND DEFEATING DEMOCRATS" underneath.

On the back, there’s a picture of Travis County, Texas, District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg's mug shot, with the word "GUILTY" stamped above it.

And yes these shirts are available for RickPAC Rick Perry's very own political action committee.

Methinks that somebody is simply not taking this indictment as seriously as they should.

GOP is now selling "I Miss W" t-shirts. They are officially screwed.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

The Republican National Committee is celebrating former President George W. Bush's birthday this weekend by selling wistful "I Miss W." t-shirts to its supporters.

"President George W. Bush led our nation through some of the most challenging moments of our nation’s history — and we miss him and his leadership," reads a fundraising pitch on the RNC's website. "By sporting this comfortable, classic, American-made tee, you can share our message and help us elect principled conservative leaders to office."

Let me be the first to totally endorse the idea of the Republican party reminding the voters of just who they put into office the last time they won the White House.

If they want to remind everybody that the guy who tanked the economy, started two unnecessary wars, and allowed the biggest terrorist attack in America's history to take place on his watch, was THEIR guy, who am I to stand in their way?

Fucking morons!
