SC ~ Day 3! The Zoo!

We spent the day at the zoo.  We had a lot of fun walking around, and looking at all the different animals!

SC Days 1 and 2

We went to visit my family in S. Carolina.  It had been a little over a year since I saw my Mom and 1.5 since i saw my Dad and brothers.  This trip was long over due.  We left here at about 8:30 on a Friday night after I got out of work.  We drove straight threw the night, only stoping for gas and bathroom stops.  We pulled over in a parking lot to snooze for an hour at 6:00 in the morning.  (we weren't the only ones doing it haha)We got out, stretched, had some breakfast and got back on the road.  We arrived at my parents house Sat. at 3:30 p.m.  Rich and I were exhausted.  We visited and went for a bike ride.  We went to bed early that night.  Sunday was pretty much the same.  We slept in, went to Church and just hung around the house and went for a walk.

KIDS FEST

Rich's Aunt works at the elks club.  Every year they have a kids fest!  With games, prizes, music, and food.  Everything is free for the kids.  They LOVE it!

Cameron is 4!

Happy Birthday Cameron!  We call him our little tyrant.  He loves to try our patience, and likes to do things his way and on his terms.  But he is such a little snuggle bug.  He loves to snuggle up with Rich and I.  He has such a fun personality and loves to make others laugh.  It is so hard to stay mad at this funny kid.  The things he says and does make us laugh so hard.  He is such a story teller.  One morning he told me he gave a baby deer a bath in the tub because he was dirty. and then he put it back outside.  "I'm serious mom!"  he says.  I better start writing some of these stories down because they are in such detail you would think they were true. 

Happy Birthday Aidan!

Aidan turned 6!  We can't believe how big he is getting.  He was so eager to be 6.  Most of the kids in his kindergarten class had turned 6 before school ended.  He just couldn't wait till it was his turn.  Aidan is growing up so fast and learning so many things.  He is now reading!!!!  He would bring in books to read to his class for story time.  he loves reading to us at home.  We love to see his excitement in his eyes when he learns something new.  He is a great big brother and cares about Cameron so much.  I love watching him look after Cameron.  His two front teeth on the top are loose.  He is so excited about it.  Aidan has the sweetest personality and loves to make others feel better.

I can't find any other picture of his birthday.  This makes me so mad.  I am not sure if they got deleted somehow.  but this is all i could find.  We love you Aidan!

                   They were so cute up there.  Each class sung a song they had learned during the year.

 With his Teacher Mrs.  Kaake.  She was such a great teacher.  I hope Cameron has her when he is in kidergarten.

 With Mrs Burnap.  I think they had a special connection.  I think she was tearing up while saying their goodbyes.  She called Aidan Bubbaloo.

 We helped out at with a project at Aidan's school.  We love going in to visit.

 We  were able to stay for story time.  Cameron fit in so well...Can you find Aidan and Cameron??

 Rich borrowed the neighbors tractor to do some digging for the foundation of the garage.

Family Tree

We planted our family tree!  The kids loved helping dig the hole.  We can't wait to see it bloom next spring!
