Ever since this blasted COVID-19/Coronavirus-related pandemic started what feel like eons ago, Two Minutes to Late Night (2M2LN) have been assembling and recording a bunch of quarantine "bedroom" covers with a rotating cast of all-star Punk/Hardcore/Metal musicians. Creators Jordan Olds AKA Gwarsenio Hall & Drew "Hollywood" Kaufman have recorded and released something like 38 such super-covers. All of these have been made with the support of their fans, via Patreon, which helps to compensate out-of-work musicians still taking part within these fun videos through these trying times. Urian Hackney for Paiste (CREDIT: Luke Awtry) Urian Hackney is a Vermont-based drummer, engineer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and skateboarder. Hackney's credits include Lake Superior, Libido Reign, Maneuvers, Caroline Rose, Western Terrestrials, and Wild Leek River. Urian Hackney has filled in for Converge drummer Ben Koller on multiple occasions and plays full-time in his own band, ROUGH FRANCIS. Consisting of three brothers and two of their close friends, ROUGH FRANCIS was originally formed in 2008 as a tribute to their father and uncles' 1970's Proto-punk band, Death. ROUGH FRANCIS are currently prepping their third full-length album, Urgent Care, for release in early May. PIEBALD are a crew of Indie Rock/Emo bridge-builders hailing from Andover, Massachusetts, who initially "cut their teeth" within the same Hardcore Punk scene as both Converge & CAVE IN . PIEBALD were originally active from about 1994-2008 and started out as a Hardcore band, who always teetered the line between Post-hardcore, Emo, Emocore, and Alternative Rock, eventually, becoming a mainstay in the Greater Boston area Indie Rock scene. PIEBALD 's last album's-worth of original music, Accidental Gentlemen , was released on SideOneDummy Records upon the band's dissolution in 2008; a live DVD/documentary set entitled NoBodY's RoBoTS: A Farewell to PIEBALD was issued in 2010 and chronicled the band's final two shows at The Bowery Ballroom & The Middle East.
