Luke Sick & Damien Return with Strike The Clutch Full-length Released On Cassette, Digital & Lathe-cut Bundle (I Had An Accident/Megakut Records)

Strike the Clutch by Luke Sick & Damien It's been a big year for Spokane, Washington -based I Had An Accident (IHAA) Records . Just this year, they've released a staggering number of releases from EQUIPTO & Brycon Present: The Watershed , Rabbi Max, Tenshun & Bonzo , BRZOWSKI/MC Homeless, C$ BURNS , Audiosiris, Bonzo Speechless & Damien , Namo, Blood Monk Consortium , Mhaze, The Deaf Index , SKRAPEZ AKA Tenshun & Psychopop, and countless others. Now, IHAA have returned with what's poised to be their last release of 2018: Luke Sick & Damien's Strike The Clutch. As many of you may well remember, Luke Sick & Damien previously released a similarly-titled EP together, which was featured within an edition of The Witzard 's Rap EP Wrap-up earlier this year. Damien Miller is, actually, the current owner and label-head at I Had An Accident , as well as a skilled producer on their roster, while Luke Sick is an emcee and founder of Megakut Re...

DIG 2 GRAVES: The Witzard's Round Robin-style Interview with BRZOWSKI, MC Homeless, 80HRTZ, C$ Burns & Damien Miller (I Had An Accident)

"In the Punk-derived tradition of split releases, DIG 2 GRAVES pairs a trio of new songs from Portland, Maine purveyor of dour verbosity, BRZOWSKI with the first [newly-]recorded material from erstwhile Ohioan, MC Homeless. Old friends who have shared stages across The US & Europe, these two both share an affinity for Indie Rap, Punk Rock ethos, and a nostalgia for the schlocky Horror of the 1970's & 80's. BRZOWSKI sculpted the majority of the lyrics for this release immediately following the sessions for 2017’s acclaimed opus of personal ghosts and political realities, ENMITYVILLE . An Indie stalwart with many note-worthy credits under his belt, BRZOWSKI has not slowed his pace of peculiar catalog pieces in the space between solo offerings, to which DIG 2 GRAVES is the latest addition. The lush production provided by C$ Burns + BRZOWSKI (as Vinyl Cape) & 80HRTZ deploys samples evenly with live instruments, woven in layers thickly appropriate to the nature ...

Long-time Collaborators Tenshun & Bonzo Speechless Join Forces for 40-minute ODIOUS Split Cassette (I Had An Accident Records)

I Had An Accident Records (IHAA) is a Spokane -based tape label we've grown particularly fond of in recent months, if you haven't yet already noticed. IHAA is owned and operated by one Damien Miller (@damienbtc74) - yes, that's in fact, the same "Damien" from Luke Sick & Damien 's phenomenal, yet incredibly too short EP, Strike The Clutch . First recommended to me by John "Jumbled" Bachman , I unfortunately, wasn't able to score one of Luke Sick & Damien 's extremely limited edition tapes, but Strike The Clutch was highlighted within The Witzard 's Rap EP Wrap-up this past March. Damien was actually, gifted the label from former I Had An Accident owner and founder Justin Bieler with his first "official" IHAA release being Mathias Kruse x Brenky 's Eustress / Wormhole from May 2016. I Had An Accident has released tapes and digital albums featuring the likes of Noise/Hip-Hop 's finest beat-makers, emce...

Spokane -based imprint I Had An Accident Records (IHAA Records) released Rabbi Max 's album-length debut, INTERKONTINENTAL back in 2016, although, he has quietly been releasing frantic mixtapes and stand-alone tracks since about 2014. "My music is described as beautiful, horrible, hogwash, genius, maundering, precise, quaint, Avant-Garde , historical, hackneyed, masterful, trivial, intense, mystical, virtuosic, gnarly, absorbing, concise, absurd, amusing, eerie, innovative, nostalgic, gruesome, contemporary, sophisticated, trash, and masterpiece," Rabbi Max cryptically writes on his Bandcamp page. Just this past Friday, June 1st, Rabbi Max unleashed his second proper full-length, TRA...
