Brycon, G-Pek, Argonaut, B.I. Lectric, BeatsMe, The Architect, Fatees & DJ Eons One Return with There's No More Room In Hell 6 (I Had An Accident)

Well, it's that spook-tacular time of year again wherein nearly every working musician decides to suddenely drop a ghoulish new batch of msuic THE DAY before Halloween. Now, don't get us wrong, we LOVE it... but it's just too much music for a one-man operation,s uch as ourselves to cover in just one day. So, expect another Halloween-centric feature either this weekend or early next week right here on these pages of The Witzard. We've been covering Halloween-adjacent content here for the better part of the past two weeks. However, today, just in time for your Halloween Weekend festivities, we're back with a brand spankin' new feature on one of our favorite artists: Brycon. For those unaware, every year around this time Brycon and his fellow producer/DJ G-Pek recruit a bunch of their beat-minded friends and peers to partake in their annual There's No More Room In Hell Halloween beat tape series. There's No More Room In Hell 6 by Brycon, G-Pek, Eons On...

Dan Lactose, Shigeru "Shiggy" Sato & Tankcrimes' Scotty Heath On SPAZZ LIVE AT CBGB JUNE 29, 1997: A BENEFIT FOR EL PUENTE YOKOHAMA

Above, you'll see a flyer for an infamous mixed-genre show at CBGB's billed as HARDCORE 1997. Said flyer for a June 29, 1997 gig explains, "This IS the actual band order, so be there early! CB's... usually START ON TIME!!!" and lists the night's performers/genres: "SPAZZ (West Bay HARDCORE Mayhem, first tour ever!) Braid (A damned EMO band on tour from somewhere?) MONSTER X (Ebullition's only real HARDCORE band.) The Get Up Kids (Another wretched EMO band on tour.) HEMLOCK (HARDCORE? DEATH METAL? At least it's not EMO!) 97a (New Jersey HARDCORE, with a brand new record, too!) Ethel Meserve (Hmm... More EMO still?)" It's crazy to think bands as different as SPAZZ, Braid, and The Get Up Kids were all featured on the same bill for a 3:00pm gig at CGBG's, but, I guess, times were different and it's an awesome piece of Punk/Hardcore-adjacent to see nearly 24 years later. Last week, amidst The COVID-19/Coronavirus global pandemic, Japa...

It all started just a few days ago, when I saw a post on F*CKED UP frontman Damian "Pink Eyes" Abraham 's Instagram page ( @leftfordamian .) A photograph of @mrchrisdodge was surrounded by images of No Use for A Name , NOFX frontman Fat Mike, CROSSED OUT , Kool Keith , Southern Lord Records , Melt Banana, and The Melvins . I ( @sharpcheddar856 ) posed an exclamatory question through comment, "Woah, now, what's Chris ' relation to Kool Keith !?" Fellow Instagram Punker @bengonzales815sl soon Replied: "@sharpcheddar856 Kool Keith did a guest spot on a SPAZZ record," which I soon learned, was in fact, SPAZZ's 1997 album, La Revancha . Later, Damian Abraham himself, actually, Replied back, as well: "@bengonzales815sl @sharpcheddar856 they are also name checked on Dr. Oc ....
