Tutorial - How to Make Customized Badges

These could be used for so many different types of functions.

Customized Badges Tutorial at Jewels of Sayuri Blog

"You can buy regular tin back badges at the market - then cost anywhere between Rs.6 - Rs.25 a badge depending on the pin thats used on it. I used smiley ones  with a safety pin back for this project for they were easily available. If your badges dont have pins, you can add them easily. Use pliers to pull back the notches behind the badge, insert the pin and close. Once you have bought your badge, measure it. You will need a print or an artwork to fit this size".... Read more

Tutorial - How to Make a Hat Stand Display for Craft Shows

Excellent idea!

Hat Stand Display for Craft Shows Tutorial at Sarahndipities

I'm a total geek.) They were just these big wooden balls on top of pretty turned-wood poles. There wasn't anything particularly fancy about them - they were just balls on sticks - and immediately I started thinking about how I could recreate something like that..." Read more

Tutorial - How to Carve Custom Stamps

Love this! I've been meaning to carve some stamps for a while now. I've got the carving set and pink erasers. Someday!

Custom Stamps Tutorial at Shrimp Salad Circus
"I exclusively use recycled packaging for my vintage shop, but since it sometimes makes the outside of the parcel look a bit mangy, I always draw a little recycle symbol so that my customers know that I'm not just being cheap. I don't really love the look of my little hand-scrawled symbol, so I decided to carve a recycle stamp with a little heart instead. It's much more professional and much more 'Etsy,' if that makes any sense. I went a little crazy and carved myself up a Shrimp to go along with the whole deal, and today you get to see the woodgrain project!..." Read more
