New York Fashion Week SS 2013....Wang Xiao

Chinese model Wang Xiao, after Costello Tagliapietra, NYC, September 2012.

Recreate Wang Xiao's retro-cool-Western look (kind of):

Denim shirt (I couldn't find any shirts quite as blingy as Wang's but I am sure you could find similar in vintage shops or otherwise perform a little DIY metal studding on a plain denim shirt). Wit & Wisdom studded denim shirt, Topshop Moto Indigo stud denim shirt, Textile Elizabeth and James Austin shirt, Joe's Jeans Sidonie denim shirt, Wrangler denim Western shirt, Current/Elliott The Perfect Shirt or Torn by Ronny Kobo Lola fringe shirt

Storm in a Teacup Vintage Store, London....Claudia

Claudia Raba, co-owner of Storm in a Teacup vintage store, Dalston, London, January 2012.

One frame from a little shoot I did earlier (much earlier!eep, how time flies!) this year with the beautiful Claudia who is a model with Models 1 and also owns a wonderful vintage shop called Storm in a Teacup on Kingsland Road with her boyfriend, Joe Miller. Joe, who is also a stylist and artist, and Claudia stock vintage treasures picked up on their travels - think vintage Vivienne Westwood, Maison Martin Margiela, Raf Simons, Ann Demeulemeester, Dries van Noten - as well as an edited selection of new pieces. You can read more about their store on Susie's blog (who writes a million times more eloquently than me).

If you are in London, go check out Claudia and Joe's store - apart from the gorgeous selection of vintage, they also have a fabulous sweetie counter with jars stacked full of old-fashioned lollies.

You can follow the store on twitter @StormTeacup366

London Fashion Week AW 2012...Rosalind

One of my LFW favourite girls to photograph (hence lots of photos!), the crazy beautiful and talented Rosalind Jana: student, writer and editor of Clothes, Cameras and Coffee blog.

Roz loves wearing mostly vintage, ethical and second-hand/charity shop finds (clever, clever girl to unearth such fantastic pieces), and, fittingly, she covered LFW for Oxfam (Roz writes for them regularly).

Recreate Roz's look (if you don't have time to trawl vintage/op-shop's yourself - patience and dedication is the key to finding choice vintage pieces, I think ;):

Sass & Bide The Introduction colourblock pants or Alexander Wang trackpants (love classic navy for evening with a great heel) or Topshop silk jogger by Boutique

Textile Elizabeth and James Austin shirt (super feminine and sweet) or Reiss Kara nude polka dot shirt
