T
his time last year, we were helping end
the scourge of human trafficking, and
we were asking Texans to join us on the
road to zero to end traffic deaths. But
time, as they say, brings change. No one could have
imagined how different our lives would be in the
age of COVID-19. Today, we live with new norms
like teleworking, social distancing and temperature
checks, but you have stepped up to the challenge,
and I thank you.
Today, we’re seeing changes in traffic patterns
and demand.
