Membership is open to anyone who served on active duty in the U. S. Armed Forces between Feb. 28, 1961and May 7, 1975 (In-Country) OR between August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975 (For Vietnam-era veterans). A Copy of your DD-214 is required for membership.

All those who are non Vietnam-era veterans and share our concerns are invited to join as Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America [AVVA]. (AVVA is a national non-profit membership service organization a 501(c) (4) tax-exempt organization under the Internal Revenue Code, working independently through the VVA State Councils and the 630 local VVA Chapters. AVVA supports the needs of veterans, their families, and their communities.
