The Blasters stormed out of Downey, California in the early 1980's on the basis of such great songs as "Marie Marie", "Border Radio", "American Music" and more. After leaving The Blasters, Dave went on to perform in X and The Knitters, as well as having an illustrious solo career. On 4/19 Liberation Hall Records releases the 5 LP set: "The Blasters: An American Music Story - The Complete Studio Recordings 1979-1985".
