For travel to or connecting through the USA, all travellers under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) nationals need to obtain an electronic travel authorization, Electronic System for Travel Authorization, or ESTA. prior to boarding

ESTA
Fee : $40 per person
Fee includes:

• ESTA application (USD21)

• 1-2 working days

ESTA Validity:


• ESTA is valid for multiple entries, and valid for 2 years
• ESTA must be applied latest 3 days (72 hours) prior to departure
• ESTA is for travel less than 90 days.
  (A valid visa is required if travel is longer than 90 days)

Note :
• Approval will be valid for two years or until the passport expires, whichever is earlier
• Once ESTA approval has been granted, it is not necessary for the VWP national to obtain approval before each trip within the 2 years
  (unless a new passport is obtained)
• An ESTA is not required for Guam or Saipan
• An ESTA may be denied due to: overstays, previous criminal history, issues associated with a prior visa
• Receipt of ESTA is not valid for travel
