"A rattlesnake that doesn't bite teaches you nothing."
"We want facts to fit the preconceptions. When they don't it is easier to ignore the facts than to change the preconceptions." "It is very easy to forgive others their mistakes; it takes more grit and gumption to forgive them for having witnessed your own."

Intro Welcome to my small Jessamyn West page. Yes, my name is also Jessamyn West. I am also a fan of Jessamyn West's writing, and in fact her entire outlook on life. When I was in fifth grade, we had an assignment to "write to someone famous" I wrote to her, to ask her where she got her name from. She wrote me back a very engaging and thoughtful letter telling me the story of her name. We corresponded back and forth a few times after that, and I was taken by her charm and friendliness, considering that I was just some random eleven year old. This is a page for celebrating her spirit and determination and providing a non-commercial portal to her works and news and information about her online. It's in its nascent state so please bear with me. Thanks for visiting. News
