citroen cx

Citroen CX has been known for selling more than 1.2 million units during its 17 or so years of production. Citroen CX was presented for sale in two body styles; four-door fastback, a station wagon. A great addition in the Citroen CX was the presence of hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension. Soon after its release, it became a huge success in the European market and more than 132,000 units were produced because of high demand.

From mechanical point of view, the car was one of the most modern units available at that time. The design used in the Citroen CX was a traverse engine one and it was good because it saved space. Soon after its release in the 1974, it was rushed to the market but had a few issues like it did not have a power steering and was difficult to drive. However, it was developed gradually over the time.
