kawasaki zephyr

Kawasaki Zephyr was manufactured in the decades of 1990s and marketed in the range of naked retro-styled superbikes. Kawasaki has built all the models with transverse air-cooled inline, 4-cylinder engines and dual overhead cam. In 4-engine models, 400, 750, 550 and 1100 cc are the options in Zephyr models.  In Japan, 400cc model was designed since 1989 because of huge demand in the market for 400 cc bikes. With exhausts, fairings, swingarms and engine modifications, a lot of aftermarket components were manufactured. With reliability and simplicity, Zephyr was announced with retro styling to the customers. For normal riding, it provides adequate performance. In Europe and the United Kingdom, Zephyr had started the Retro/Naked bike boom in the beginning of 1990s. Kawasaki has become second motorbike bestseller in the market of the UK.
