Exhausting, but fun weekend and giveaway cont...

We had a exhausting weekend, but it was fun too!
It started on Friday with me driving two hours one way
to pick up oldest granddaughter, shopped a little and
then drove back home. {It becomes an all day event
when I have to drive that far}

Then we had made plans to go to the Toledo Zoo on
Saturday with our youngest son and his family and the
rain
did not deter us at all! We all ended up buying
and wearing plastic ponchos, but it was so much fun.

Here is little Annika in hers. She kept pretending she was a ghost.
She kept holding her arms out
and saying, *BOOooo*.

Hubby and son in their wonderful statement making
gear! lol.

Sweet grands Allysha and Annika having so much fun! They got soaked crawling up on these animals , but
you would never know it by the looks on their
faces. {we hadn't purchased ponchos yet at this point}

Then Sunday after church was putt putt golf and go cart fun. I think this adorable little face says it all. About the 14th or 15th hole she was tired! Poor little thing!

Oldest GD Allysha driving a go cart for the first time.
She was apprehensive at first, but then really
enjoyed it and did great at driving. She needs to get out more!

Look at little Annika's tongue! Too cute!
Now I am telling you we had the most fun a family can
have, but this is wearing me out! lol Then today I had to go to my booth because I didn't
make it at all last week so we hit the road again.
I am staying home tomorrow and resting...
that is the plan anyways.
Then Wednesday I have to take Allysha back...
more driving. I will need a two day nap when this
is over. :)

Hope you are having a wonderful Monday! Blessings~

We attended our first

they were open for this event and
we stepped inside and warmed up with some
hot chocolate and mocha ~

Family time, ladybugs and freckles ~

We were thrilled to have our youngest son,
daughter-in-law and sweetie Annika spend part of
Thanksgiving day with us and I was
actually able to snap a few photos ~
my little sweetie always has a smile for grandma~ don't you just love her outfit with the ladybug on the front~ she was ready to eat as soon as she got inside the door~
she did this with her tiny little
jello dessert so I had to grab the camera quick ~
our little ladybug heard someone say
that she has one little freckle
on her face and she said,
"I need to get the freckle off" {lol}
daddy had to tell her they don't come off
and it is okay...
then he showed her all his
freckles on his arms~
playing after lunch ~

I hope that you enjoyed your Thanksgiving day as much
as we did. Have a truly beautiful weekend.

Blessings ~

p.s. Christmas isn't very far away now...yikes~

Annika and the Camel ~

Once upon a time...
there was a much loved little girl
named Annika who went to a big fall festival
with her daddy and her grandparents.
The first thing Annika saw at the wonderful
festival was a pretty lady who was painting faces.
Annika's daddy asked her if she would like
to get a kitty painted on her face.
"Oh yes daddy,"
said Annika.
So the much loved little Annika sat very still
while the talented lady painted her face.
Annika loved the kitty. {insert here: well...for a little while anyway until she scratched part of it off...lol} Then Annika's grandma noticed
some people riding a camel. Grandma wondered if Annika
would like to do this too.
Of course she did! So, the brave little Annika climbed the big stairs with her daddy and hopped up on the camels back. {insert here...well actually she didn't hop, the man picked her up and sat her on it, but hopped sounds so much better...lol}
The much loved little girl's anxious grandparents wondered how Annika would react and they quickly found out that she loved it ~
Even Annika's daddy seemed to be having a
great time~
In all too short of time the camel ride was over,
but the much loved little girl was overjoyed
with her fun day ~
{insert here...and so was her grandma, but
grandma ran out of steam. Her grandma was also
running around like a mad woman
trying to get good shots and as you can see
it didn't work part of the time..lol}

Have a blessed day~

A Little Child Shall Lead Them ~

My precious granddaughter looked at me yesterday
with bright little eyes and out of the blue said,
"mommy...daddy...together ?
and then gave me the biggest smile."
Did she know something that we didn't know...
in her little heart?
God was working as only He can, throughout the day
and her mommy and daddy have reconciled.
Much prayer still needed for forgiveness, trust and grace,
but...
GOD IS GOOD!
We are thanking Him today ~
Blessings~
