Invincibelle Spirit!

First of all... *HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY*!!  I hope you enjoy the day celebrating this great country that we live in. Although it is not a perfect country, it is still the best in the world and I thank God for that. 

My Invincibelle Spirit hydrangeas have really taken off and blessed me this year with tons of gorgeous blooms.  I purchased two of these plants a couple years ago at Menards during their end of season sale. They were on clearance for $5 each {regular $24 each} and I hoped they would live for me and thrive...and they have! I am so happy with them. 

I took the opportunity yesterday to take a few goodies outside for a photo shoot. I am not an expert in styling at all, but I  try to put pretty things together and see how it goes. I love the elements that I chose and love the way the photos turned out.

I love adding vintage clock faces in my decor so I added one here as well ~

We will be heading out to my moms soon for a fourth of July cookout and it is shaping up to be a fun day! We usually go to a local parade, but I don't think we will have time for that this year.

Cutest little clock EVER!

Isn't this the cutest little clock ever?? I found her a few weeks ago and fell in love!! Never seen one like it and probably never will again.  Okay...bigtime computer issues here. My computer is down...don't know if she can be saved or not. All my photos and all my programs, printables etc. bleh!! We have an external hard drive to save photos etc. but I miss her so much. I am working on a MAC right now that is older than the hills and don't have a clue what I am doing. Don't know how to add text to photos on here, how to start a new paragraph, how to do anything so this is all you get today. ha! Can't figure out how to downsize photos either and this ONE photo took forever to download...I am outta here. ENJOY the day! I am thanking God today for sparing our 13 year old granddaughters life as she was in a car accident earlier today on a field trip from school. She is pretty shook up and will be sore , but God is good!!! {now let's just pray that this will post!! }

White Wednesday Valentine banquet and please welcome a new blogger ~

I was asked to decorate for our Valentine banquet

at our church this coming Saturday evening.

I have been tossing around a few ideas

to use what I already have here

{to save our little church money}

and this is what I have come up with so far~

white candles in romantic candleholders ~

they have the words romance, love, faith etc.

etched on them~

frosty winter flowers and tulle that i have had for a

long time~ even adding in some silver jewelry ~

love to use cloches~

typewrite key necklace and clock faces.

I thought I might use vintage

sheet music with love songs on them,

but my printer ran out of ink and the refill has

not arrived yet. maybe today~

If I go ahead and use the clock faces

I think I will print out

*time for love*

and

*time for romance*

to add somewhere. I am not really a "red" person

so thought I would go with something

totally different this year.
