easter happy mail | pebbles inc.

I decided to do something a little different for easter this year - I'm sending some Easter Happy Mail to a few special friends!  I mean, really, what could be happier than receiving these cute little bunnies in your mailbox?  Well, maybe opening up the card to find a gift card for a special local treat!  That's what I call happy mail!  I had fun using the lullaby collection (both boy and girl) to create these cards.  Since each collection had a cute bunny sticker, I thought they were perfect for Easter - and didn't really scream "BABY" as the collection suggests.  I love finding a way to stretch a themed collection, don't you?  Here's a look at the finished project - keep reading for step-by-step instructions!

Start with a piece of white cardstock - cut it to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Score both sides at 2 1/2".  Fold the flaps in.

Now cut a strip of patterned paper 2 1/4" wide.  Then cut this strip into two 5 1/4" pieces. Send some happy Easter mail this year! @wendysue used our "Lullaby" collection to create these cute pocket cards! check it out on the @PebblesInc. blog!
Use adhesive to glue down the right and left edges of the bottom flap.  Add the patterned paper strips to the bottom flap (which is now a pocket) and the top flap.

Place the bunny sticker on the top flap - only the ears should be "stuck" down.  Use baby powder to remove the stickiness from the body and legs of the bunny sticker.  (I like to sprinkle a little bit on my work surface, then use my finger to rub the powder on the sticky part of the sticker).  Next, add a floral sticker to the inside of the top flap.

Now use one of the hearts from the patterned die-cut pieces in the top left corner of the top flap.  Add foam adhesive to a heart sticker and add it next to the first heart.

Now it's time to tuck a note and gift card inside the pocket!

Wrap coordinating twine around the outside of the card and tie a bow!  That's all there is to it!  Slide it into an envelope and pop it in the mail - you're going to make somebody's day!! carrot shaped easter boxes | doodlebug design

Hi  friends! I wanted to hop on today and share one of my most favorite Easter projects EVER!

I absolute adore the "Easter Express" collection from Doodlebug Design and I knew as soon as I opened it up that it was going to make some super cute little treat containers for some friends!

I used a "carrot box" cut file (HERE), along with some "petite prints" paper to create the carrot shaped boxes.

The tops are tied with chunky doodle twine, then I added some shaped clips to the bows - I think they look like sweet little charms!  I also added a small strip of coordinating doodle tape to each box, about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom!

The tags are simple die-cut circles from various papers from the 6x6 paper pad, and embellished with lots of sweet animal stickers!

I used foam adhesive behind the stickers, because I just love that teensy bit of dimension it adds.

Of course, I had to fill them up with some of my favorite Easter candies before I gave them away:

Wouldn't these be cute tucked into an Easter basket?  I think they would!

Do you like to create your own packaging for treats?  I'd love to see what you're giving away this Easter - please leave a link in the comment section below!

Happy Easter!

easy easter cards | pebbles inc.

Hi friends!  Today I'm sharing a set of easy Easter cards.  These cards are less "cutesy" and a bit more on the sophisticated side...but still super fun!  I used a simple shape from the Silhouette store and just a few products from the "Tealightful" collection to create this set of proper bunny cards:

They were really easy to put together.  Let me show you how! Here's what you'll need to gather.  A bunny cut from floral patterned paper, a circle cut from patterned paper, washi tape, jute/twine, "happy easter" printed on cream cardstock, a cream cardstock card base, puffy stickers, and foam adhesive squares!

Tie jute around the bunny's neck and attach the tag.
