Allô! I'm Anthony.
MS CS @ Georgia Tech, AI Safety Research
I'm a Master's student in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, where my research focuses on AI safety, interpretability, and observability. At the EILab under the guidance of Dr. Mark Riedl (Director, GT Center for ML) and PhD Candidate Glenn Matlin, I work on persona vectors and humanistic modeling in LLMs. I'm also a member of the AI Safety Initiative at Georgia Tech and a Lead Graduate TA for algorithms under Dr. Will Perkins.
Previously, I Head TA'd Discrete Mathematics under Dr. Gerandy Brito, Abrahim Ladha, Frederic Faulkner, and Ronnie Howard, led pointcloud synthetic data research under Dr. Ling Liu (the DiSL Lab), and managed HPC nodes with Team Phoenix guided by Dr. Rich Vuduc and others at the Center for High-Performance Computing (CHIPC).
We've not reached a point in progression where one person cannot truly master everything, top-down, needed to build our daily items — it's something that keeps me in awe. Though, irregardless, I find the most joy trying to understand the fractions of it that I can, and especially in investigating the discoveries that we've yet to uncover. The settings I love most are those in which I'm aware that I'm surrounded by knowledge I don't yet know — knowledge that I have yet to learn.
In my free time, I love climbing trees, tending to my plants, making bouquets, and finding chaotic adventures to best fulfil the experience of life. Very low barrier to reach out — always happy to meet new folks, offer perspective, and chat!
