In an alley right off Cambie and Pender in Vancouver (between the Amsterdam Café and Dressew in Gastown) you will find a mini Springfield, otherwise known as the North American museum of El Barto.
Led by local graffiti artist “SOAK” a group of 12 street painters began the project in early 2013 and completed the mural by the summer. The building owner, who got sick of paying to cover up graffiti gave permission to SOAK and crew to paint the walls once and for all with something unique. Our favorite is Homer in the Canucks underwear.
