We are a group of independent developers, and an unregistered anonymous organization established on July 9th, 2021.
Even all that remains is our flickering candlelight, we will share to bring back the light for everyone.

Documentation on Silk is now available here: https://kb.ltgc.cc/silk/
The API and the web frontend are not yet available, but is under internal testing.
To everyone in the MLP fandom:
We need volunteers capable of designing pleasant UIs and/or UX experiences for the unified Fediverse timeline project! If you're interested, contact us at @lightingale@fosstodon.org, or team@ltgc.cc via email!
The MLP fandom is better together.
Insiders will be able to experience the Web UI at https://staging.ltgc.cc/silk/ in a few hours due to a bug in DNS resolution. Anyone without insider access cannot test the web app until the public beta.
The service is by no means for-profit, its only purpose is to merge the local timelines of multiple instances in the MLP fandom together.

Edit: Screenshot removed to comply request from @pixellight@pony.social. We apologize for a lack of communication beforehand.
The basic Silk Web UI is considered to be enough for public use. The public debut will commence once timeline moderation has been properly implemented server-side.
In the meantime, feel free to suggest features here: https://github.com/ltgcgo/silk/issues/

We have a clarification to make.
We haven't ever used RHEL in our infrastructure, and we have no plans to employ RHEL in the future.
We're RHEL-free, just as we are Ubuntu-free.
With the demo files pruned from the project itself, developers won't be required to fetch loads of demo files from now on. As an additional benefit, Octavia is now made available on multiple code hosting platforms!

ltgc.cc may experience some downtime, as we're slowly updating software on our core infrastructure located in Germany. We'll post announcements once we've finished updating it. We apologize for any inconvenience we may cause in advance.
Due to recent faulty Caddy 2.7.x updates, we are experiencing network-wide downtimes. We are currently downgrading Caddy back to 2.6.4, before the Caddy team can fix all problems causing problems on load balancing and duplex communications.
PonyTrails is now defunct. For ready-made custom Linux images, please refer to Gel for servers and Iceflakes for desktops/laptops.

Our main infrastructure at ltgc.cc has crashed. We are diagnosing the possible causes, and are working on the fix.

Our main infrastructure at ltgc.cc has crashed. We are diagnosing the possible causes, and are working on the fix.
This was caused by the recent Caddy update (2.7.2). Nothing is wrong with Caddy itself, but the Systemd unit file it bundled with crashed our existing setup. It is now fixed.
More than 2 days ago, it came to our knowledge that some of our repos have their releases all reverted to drafts for unknown reasons. We tried to contact GitHub, but to no avail.
As some releases of our projects are rather essential to us, we are seeking to publish releases also elsewhere from now on. The most vital ones will have their releases be duplicated to Codeberg soon.
Our operations have been hindered once again, and we cannot afford yet another paralysis.
We're excited to announce that Lightingale Community has been officially accepted into the Fastly Fast Forward program, and is now sponsored by Fastly! We'd like to express our appreciation to Fastly for this generous offer.

Octavia version 0.5 pre 2, or 0.5 release candidate 1 will be released within the next 2 days.
Version 0.5 comes with a lot of rather complex new features, justifying its development for over seven months. Support for MIDI routing is not among the new features, as its correct baseline implementation requires some massive changes under the hood, which may or may not hinder performance vastly.

⚠️ If without further problems, Octavia will begin publishing release candidates.
