上个月，SpaceX 打败了 Jeff Bezos 的 Blue Origin 和国防承包商 Dynetics 赢得了NASA 的 29 亿美元的月球登陆舱合同。NASA 原计划在初始阶段选择三家公司，然后再从中选择两家公司去建造月球登陆舱，此举旨在维持一个竞争环境，确保一家出现意外后还有替代。但 NASA 以预算不足为由只选择了 SpaceX 一家公司去建造登陆舱，Blue Origin 和 Dynetics 随后向美国政府问责办公室投诉了这一决定，Blue Origin 指责 NASA 不公平的在最后一分钟改变方案，而只选择 SpaceX 将会危及到 2024 年载人登月的时间表。在政府问责办公室投解决所有未决诉讼前，NASA 通知 SpaceX 暂缓合同履行。
