Apple 高级副总裁 Craig Federighi 在 2021 Web 峰会上称「旁加载是网络犯罪分子最好的朋友」。
Federighi 称，相比每月遭受 500 万次恶意软件攻击的 Android，iOS 靠着禁止旁载做到了较低的恶意软件比率。如果 Apple 允许用户在 iOS App Store 外旁加载，用户就可能会遭受隐藏精致的恶意软件的损害。即使玩机专家们不会上当，他们的孩子和家长可能也会上当。除此之外，如果允许旁加载应用，一些社交网络应用可能会通过以只提供旁加载版本的方式绕过 App Store 提供的隐私保护措施。
Federighi 还提到，如果用户和法规制定者想要旁加载应用的选择权，Android 就足够用了，没有必要强制 iOS 也这样做。

每次提到应用市场开放还是会来到的一个话题：iOS 的封闭应用市场（哪怕常被认为是一种「陋习」）确实从某种程度上制伏了许多其它公司或开发商的「陋习」。当我们没有良好的方法去治理应用开发商带给用户的灾难的时候，允许 Apple 这家名声相对良好的公司以独裁的方式来提高 App 品质的行为是否是更好的解决方案？甚至说，App Store 收取的「苹果税」是否确实直接或间接地支持了 iOS 应用的生态维护，从而使用户受益？

阿里巴巴数据泄露，#RaidForums 上有一位 ID 为 #AgainstTheWest 的黑客在兜售 / 提供下载。其一是阿里云的各种测试环境、前后端的源码，其二是平台上两万多名商户的姓名、手机号、精确地址等隐私信息。
上海消费者权益保护委员会发文，剑指《个人信息保护法》正式实施后的微信。文章摘录：
1. 以前 关闭入口十分隐蔽，并且需要11步才能关闭；
在新版微信里，我—设置—隐私—个人信息与权限—个性化广告。只需要5步 就可以彻底关闭微信个性化广告推荐了。
2. 我们想问，如果消费者关闭了个性化广告推荐功能，
腾讯公司对于消费者的行为数据是不再进行收集还是仍然收集但不使用呢？
3. 腾讯公司的隐私保护政策说，“在符合相关法律法规的前提下，我们可能将通过某些服务所收集的信息用于我们的其他服务。”
如果腾讯公司仍然在收集消费者的行为数据，那又是基于什么理由？
这个某些服务是什么服务？收集的信息是什么信息？其他服务又是什么？
