3 月 17 日，MPP 宣布，该组织已与 35 家企业签署协议，授权生产辉瑞的新冠口服药「奈玛特韦」(Nirmatrelvir) 的仿制药。这 35 家企业中包含 5 家中国药企：复星医药、华海药业、普洛药业、九洲药业、上海迪赛诺。其中，九洲药业仅生产原料药，其余企业可同时生产原料药和制剂。
根据 MPP 与辉瑞早前在去年 11 月签署的协定，仿制者将暂时不需要缴纳专利费用，直到世界卫生组织宣布新冠不再为「国际关注的公共卫生紧急事件」。仿制药可在 95 个低收入 / 中低收入 / 中高收入国家销售（不含中国）。
