空客的太阳能飞机已连续飞行逾二十天

空客的无人驾驶太阳能飞机 Zephyr S 已连续飞行逾二十天。Zephyr 太阳能飞机最初由 QinetiQ 公司设计，2013 年该公司出售给了 EADS Astrium——今天的空客国防航天。Zephyr S 是最新的 Zephyr 系列太阳能飞机，最大起飞重量 75 公斤，可携带 5 公斤负荷，它长时间在空中停留的能力使其可作为军方的传感器平台。Zephyr S 于 6 月 15 日从美国陆军位于亚利桑那州的 Yuma 试验场起飞，跟踪数据显示它于 6 月 27 日飞过墨西哥湾，接着飞过加勒比海，进入中美洲伯利兹领空，上周回飞美国。Zephyr S 在 2018 年首飞时连续飞行了近 26 天，这一次是否能打破该记录还有待观察确认。
