欧盟气候监测机构哥白尼气候变化服务局23日发布报告说，7月21日的全球日平均气温达到17.09摄氏度，略高于2023年7月6日，成为自1940年以来最热的一天。
报告指出，0.01摄氏度看起来相差无几，真正值得关注的是2023年7月以来的气温与此前年份气温的“差异”。哥白尼气候变化服务局主任卡洛·布翁滕波表示，全球最近13个月内日平均气温的最高纪录与先前最高纪录的差距“令人震惊”，“随着气候持续变暖，我们必将在未来数月或数年内看到新的纪录被打破”。
