The debut full length from Cult of Lip
Made to be played loud.
What are fellow Fuzz&Feedback freaks saying about Marsha?:
“Cool fuzzed up hooks galore. Marsha perfectly captures the inspired simplicity of the Cult Of Lip live trip with subtle and effective sprinklings of extra magic thrown in. Nothing is over/ under done, always just enough to make it fly. From the haunting vocal and soaring guitar melodies to the infectious riffs and discordance, everything couples itself naturally among the urgent rush of rhythm and bass to create a delicious head nodding swirl of a sound merge. Marsha is a beautiful rush of songs to get lost in. Get found in the Cult Of Lip.”
-Stephen Lawrie/the Telescopes
“Hard to believe this is the first full length by Cult of Lip. They packed a load of huge sounds into each of their previous EPs, sending a solid message as to what is necessary to gaze in this crazy era. This album brings me great joy, listening to Cult of Lip getting comfortable with their own disorienting sound… expanding inward and outward. The guitars are more colorful the melodies sweeter. I love this band...This record is for real!”
-Josh Richardson from Flavor Crystals
“…really wonderful album. I love this record. They (Cult of Lip) are making the world more beautiful.”
-Andy Liszt from LSD and the Search for God

An amalgamation of catchy riffs, hooks and an ambient atmosphere of sound makes Retreater an alternative/indie rock five star act. I enjoy the vocals being saturated with reverb and not detracting from the instrumentation. Brief Candles’ experimentation and bold movement of Retreater deserves an easy A+! Kev
Cavernous debut from a strong Berlin trio who craft dreamy, devestating slowcore reminiscent of Carissa's Wierd and Codeine. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 8, 2025
