Howie Carr is a local (Boston) radio talk show host and our local station runs his show as do many other regional and national stations. He’s helped more than a few other hosts get their start in the radio biz and a few have gone on to have their own shows. Karoline Leavitt was a host on his network for a while before becoming WH Press Secretary. One of his associates who started on his show and now has a show that airs right before his on the same station in Boston is Grace Curley. While she shares the last name of a famous Boston mayor, James Michael Curley, she is not related to him but I’m sure it has opened a few doors for her at some point. After all that introduction, I get to the point of this story which is as follows: Her show is where I hear Thursday being called “Friday Junior” as well as the only place. Have you guys heard that expression before?
Good morning and welcome to another edition of Hunky Hump Day.
First, the song. This week’s cue was “What would you pick for a wake-up song for the astronauts? (Pink Pony Club is an automatic DQ.)” This was my classic pick.
While every day celebrates your mom at the Hostages today we celebrate her even more than usual. Whether your mom is still with you or has passed on to her eternal reward it remains true that no one will ever love you like your mother does/did.
