Colossus is a dark jazz fantasy by Montreal funk & jazz
powerhouse The Liquor Store. Straight from the most
convoluted and obscure corners of the septet’s creative
minds, Colossus is a conceptual suite of instrumentals
designed to entrance with its ever-evolving colour palette of
emotions; relentless, cathartic and deeply reflective. What if
an album was an open question to the universe? a
philosophical essay on the meaning of creation? Or just a
dope-a** jazz joints ?
