Not sure where I found this, it might be The Luxor Dream, but I am more than pleased that I did. Big Big Train is a band I have been enjoying for a few years now. I think I was told to check them out about 4 years ago. I told my friend with a name like Big Big Train they probably will not be for me. So what's in a name right? Big Big Train are an awesome Progressive Rock band in every 1970's sense of the word. Take the best things about Peter Gabriel era Genesis (David Longdon has a very similar voice) and Fragile era Yes (especially the bass lines). I love this band and say every fan of 1970's Prog-Rock should check them out. Unfortunately we have lost David Longdon on November 20, 2021 from complications to a fall, he was 56.

Download this nice sounding audience recording and check out Big Big Train for yourself. I wish I could have provided a soundboard recording for your introduction to them but this is all I have. I am looking for more
