I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to edit track marks, lower the music volume a little, raise the interview volume and add fade ins and outs. The DVD had lossy audio so the waves were encoded to MP3 320kbps using Trader's Little Helper.

How do I describe King Woman to you and make you curious enough to want to check them out. I could quote you the little blurb on the CD...King Woman is an experimental musical vehicle for the Performance Artist Kristina Esfandiari featuring elements of Doom Metal and Shoegaze with raw vocal emotion...For fans of Jarbo era Swans, EARTH, Big Brave, SunnO))) and Boris...I mean that gets us in the ballpark (since I like all them it was an easy sell).

I could also describe it to you like I tried to with Spider & Rosebud. "There are long drawn out throbbing guitar & bass riffs, powerful drums all while Kristina Esfandiari bares here soul in a mournful croon. The music always builds in power as the performance progresses akin Post Rock/Metal as Kristina's vocals increase in emotion akin to Old School Gospel/Soul Singers." In the end it's better to just let you check the music out for yourself. I have picked up all 3 of the bands available releases and their 2017 release Created In The Image Of Suffering is my latest CD obsession.
