Singer/Songwriter John Hiatt doing what he does best in front of a very appreciative live audience. This show comes form the tour to promote John's breakthrough release Bring The Family. John Hiatt is a songwriters songwriter, meaning artists who are considered great songwriters themselves feel the need to record and interpret John's songs. Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Joan Baez, Eric Clapton, Nick Lowe & Emmylou Harris to name just a few. This is a fine sounding recording and should be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.

As our tribute to Ronnie James Dio rolls on we come to the man's solo career. The DIO solo material fit quite nicely alongside his Rainbow and Black Sabbath material. At the time of this recording Ronnie had a deep back catalog to go through. Along side fan favorites like "Man On The Silver Mountain", "Heaven And Hell", & "Holy Diver" the man pulls out "The Sign Of The Southern Cross" and the rarely played "Gates Of Babylon". Ronnie is in fine voice and the band is playing quite well together. A nice addition to anyone's DIO collection.

Ripped from the bootleg DVD, a fantastic sounding show. Peter addresses the crowd in their native Portuguese, using pre-written notes, receiving chuckles from the crowd when he has to correct himself. The broadcast took place during a storm so there were some problems, the most notable is just after Peter's introduction to "The Rhythm Of The Heat", the music fades in after a burst of static. I removed the static, the fade occurred naturally, I did not add it, nor did I delete it. CD2 track 4 is a speech given about Peter's work with such charities as Amnesty  International, I left it for continuity. If you don't play this track you don't miss any music. My track list is different from the art work because I didn't separate the song intros from the songs like the DVD author, and I didn't encode the 10 minute introduction.
