I got this from Arizona Jones's's bootleg blog. This is the complete 2 day event. 2 of the biggest bands in rock at the time, in 2 very long shows. Lots of great jams. The Grateful Dead shows have some audience patches, The Allman Brothers Band shows are pure soundboard. I must confess I've never been a big Dead fan, I own 1 greatest hits collection and 2 live albums. My mom bought them for me for my birthday. She thought with a name like Grateful Dead and all the skulls and roses it had to be metal. We were both surprised. I've been a fan of The Allman Brothers Band since I first heard "Whipping Post" on the radio when I was quite young. This collection of recordings shows the reason why these 2 groups have always packed their live shows. Each band showing how they can jam on a theme, and deliver a hook that will catch you and keep you entranced. Plus Ronnie Montrose jumps on stage with The Allman Brothers Band for "Mountain Jam"  on June 9th.

This is a large file set so I have divided the download into 3 parts, all 3 parts needed to unzip.

Great but all too short recording from Savatage on The Wake of Magellan Tour. This audio comes from a bootleg DVD that is the only know pro shot footage of that tour. It might be short but this performance is a great representation of what Savatage was like live in the 1990's. The transformation into Trans-Siberian Orchestra is almost complete. The large arraignments and vocal cannon are all in place, the only thing missing is the orchestra. So fans of Trans-Siberian Orchestra who haven't actually heard Savatage should definitely check this one out.

Killer performance from Orange Goblin's appearance at the 2004 Roadburn Festival. Orange Goblin get lumped in with the Stoner Doom Metal bands but the band also has some Hardcore Punk in their system as well. Picture Motörhead if Lemmy was into Weed, Beer and Black Sabbath instead of Methamphetamine, Whiskey and The MC5 and you kind of get the picture.

* Scott Ian was with his wife who was having a baby so Andreas Kisser of Sepultura substituted. This  makes drummer Charlie Benante the only original member of the band at this performance.

** In early 2011, Jeff Hanneman contracted necrotizing fasciitis. According to the band, doctors say that it likely originated from a spider bite. Gary Holt of Exodus substituted. Jeff never returned to the line-up. He passed away on May 2, 2013 at the age of 49, from liver failure. The cause was determined to be from alcohol-related cirrhosis. Gary Holt has since been named a permanent member of Slayer.

justdave notes:
I edited the whole thing to run as one continuous show. Both DVD's ran for over 2 hours. This is a large file set so it has been divided into 2 parts, both parts needed to unzip.
