Digitized by Draftervoi from the Pre-FM Radio Broadcast Albums. Draftervoi manually de-clicks all of his vinyl encodings with Audacity before encoding the waves to flac, and as always flac files are of waves.

This recording from the Japanese Leg of The Sound & Vision Tour has a different track listing than the other Pre-FM post we have of the same show posted here. There are a few different broadcasts for this concert each having different track lists. In the download Draftervoi has included an Excel file explaining the differences of each broadcast. Always great encodings from Draftervoi.

Another pick from Rosebud's David Bowie collection as we salute some of Rosebud's Favorite Vocalists. It's just one more thing Rosebud and I have in common, our love for Rock & Roll's Ultimate Chameleon David Bowie. The Thin White Duke was able to slither and slink from on music genre to the next with the ease of the small lizard blending into it's surroundings. This recording is a soundboard from the rehearsals for The Sound & Vision Tour.

Take The Mad Professor of Keyboards John Medeski. Add 2 members of The Dirty Dozen Brass Band Sousaphonist Kirk Joseph & Drummer Terence Higgins. Then add Guitarist Will Bernard, who's played with quite a few artists such as Peter Apfelbaum's Hieroglyphics Ensemble, Tom Waitts, Don Cherry, and Stanton Moore to name a few. With a line up like that you can't lose. Through in some cover songs by Cannonball Adderley, Jelly Roll Morton, & Sun Ra. Have them write a few of their own and then you have A Hell Of A Great Night Of Awe Inspiring Music. Thankfully this great sounding matrix recording gives us a chance of hearing it for ourselves. Thanks go out to K.C. Cadwallader for the great recording, Funk It for the awesome mix and Shackaholic for the photos. This was shared on bt.etree.org where a ton of share friendly bands allow their music posted.

John Medeski - keys, Hammond B3 organ
John Scofield - guitars
Billy Martin - drums, percussion
Chris Wood - basses

Two of my favorites in Jazz, Medeski, Martin & Wood and Guitar Legend John Scofield join forces to kick some Jazz ass! Each time the trio of Medeski Martin & Wood add the additional element of another instrumentalist it changes the music. With the addition of a guitarist such as John Scofield or Nels Cline the music is such that each could be a different band. Each player is allowed to add the own signature on the music. There is never a shortage of people who want to jam with all 4 of the musicians on this recording so ego must not be a factor, with the music being the magic. For some of that magic check out this great show for yourself.
