Heilung, Anda Fardha ‘End of a Journey’ Tour – Live in Kiel (Wunderino Arena) – 08 July 2025

Heilung is one of those rare bands that transcend genre and time—an experience rather than just a concert. Whether you're into metal, tribal or folk music, history, mysticism, or simply exploring the depths of human nature, witnessing their Ritual live is something unforgettable. With a planned hiatus after summer 2025, their final announced shows in Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden may be the last chance for a while. The atmosphere of their performances is unlike any other, merging ceremony, music, and ancient energy into a cohesive and immersive experience that feels sacred and universal.

Seeing them live in Kiel for the second time was nothing short of magical. The Ritual began with a powerful incense cleansing, followed by songs that span cultures and eras. From Norse chants to Latin hymns, Roman symbolism, and even the oldest known song from ancient Mesopotamia. Highlights like 'Asja', 'Othan',  'Tenet', 'Anoana', and 'Nikkal' showcased Maria Franz’s otherworldly vocals and the ensemble's mesmerizing cohesion. The final act, rooted in Germanic traditions with 'Galgaldr', 'Seidh', and 'Hamrer Hippyer', turned the stage into a celebratory trance before closing in solemn ritual. It was a journey through darkness and light, history and myth, all shared by a deeply diverse and equally entranced audience.

I consider that to be truly Prog!
