Milton shared, “I have known Vijay Antony for over 20 years, but in the last two years, I've been particularly close to him as he navigated some of the toughest times of his life. During the making of 'Pichaikkaran 2,' he suffered a significant injury, and shortly thereafter, he lost his daughter Meera. Despite his efforts to immerse himself in his work to cope with the loss, it seems he still struggles to come to terms with it. His decision to go without footwear may be a reflection of the profound impact Meera’s loss has had on him.”
Vijay Milton also fondly recalled moments spent with Meera and Vijay Antony, saying, “During the Diu schedule of 'Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan,' I took my children and Vijay Antony’s daughters out for a fun tour of the city.
