In a graceful yet firm gesture, Arijit picked up the food and handed it to his security team, addressing the fan with an apology: “I am sorry, this is my temple.You can’t put food here.” His words resonated with the crowd, who praised his respect for his stage and art.
Ahana Bhattacharya, a fan present at the concert, recalled the moment vividly: “He did that while still singing, and those of us at the back couldn’t stop cheering. My respect for him multiplied that day.” He also schooled a fan when he was requested to sing , a song that the singer recorded to seek justice for the RG Kar incident.
