Stree 2' has become this phenomenon of sort and clearly making all the right buzz at the box office. The film is in its third week and yet remaining steady, thus it is on its way to break many records. 'Stree 2' had seen a great jump over the weekend and it made around Rs 36 crore on its third Saturday and Sunday combined. However, it saw a drop on Monday.
The film managed to make around Rs 6.75 crore on Monday, which according to trade website Box Office India, is a drop of 25 percent from Friday.
On Tuesday, it remained similar as it made Rs 6 crore. The total collection of the movie so far, according to Sacnilk, is Rs 492.80 crore. Thus, it can cross Rs 500 crore net in India after Wednesday collections perhaps. Meanwhile, the week 3 collection of the movie is expected to be around Rs 68 crore, which is the second behind 'Baahubali 2'.
And now, the race begins and one shall wait to find out, if 'Stree 2' becomes the highest grossing Hindi movie ever, as it will cross Rs 550 crore net in its lifetime collection. As far as the week 4 box office goes,
Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan' holds the record for the highest fourth week collection. Will 'Stree 2' challenge that in the coming week? Time will tell. However, in its week 3, both 'Jawan' and 'Stree' are at par with each other.
Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' which was supposed to release this week, has been delayed, hence, 'Stree 2' will get another open window over the weekend to get more numbers.
