While the Indian pair's performance did not secure them direct qualification to the Final A, their result allows them to compete in the repechage round. This secondary round offers another opportunity to qualify for the final race.
This Paralympic appearance follows the duo's success at the 2022 Asian Para Games, where they earned a silver medal in the same category.
The Australian team, as winners of heat 1, automatically advance to the Final A. The remaining teams, including the Indian pair, will now prepare for the repechage round, aiming to secure their place in the final and compete for a medal.
