Apple has introduced its latest iPhone lineup featuring the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. While the base models retain similar pricing to their predecessors, the Pro variants are slightly more affordable in India. However, these models are still significantly cheaper in countries like the US.

Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone lineup, featuring the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The base models, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, are priced similarly to their predecessors, while the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are launched at slightly more affordable prices in India. All four models are currently available for pre-order and will go on sale starting September 20
However, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are notably less expensive in countries like the US compared to India.For instance, the iPhone 16 Pro is priced at $999 in the US, roughly translating to Rs 83,900 (before taxes), making the Pro models more affordable in the US than the base models in India. Below are the Indian prices for the new iPhone 16 models across different storage options.

As per the table, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are competitively priced in India, especially compared to their Pro counterparts. With a bank discount of Rs 5,000, the 128GB iPhone 16 can be purchased for Rs 74,900. However, in markets like the US and Canada, the iPhone 16 is significantly cheaper, starting at around Rs 67,000 (before taxes). Meanwhile, the starting prices of the iPhone 16 models are the highest in markets like the UK and France.

The iPhone 16 Pro, while priced lower than its predecessor in India, remains relatively expensive compared to international markets. In the US and Canada, the iPhone 16 Pro can be purchased for less than Rs 90,000, which is considerably cheaper than the Indian pricing. Again, these prices are without adding taxes which will bring up the prices in other markets.
In markets like Dubai and China, the iPhone 16 Pro is also available for less than Rs 1,00,000, making it at least Rs 15,000 cheaper than in India.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max is particularly more expensive in India. Even the base model with 256GB of storage costs significantly more in India compared to the US, where it is available for slightly over Rs 1,00,000.
