Door & Window Casing
Casing is used to frame door and window openings, forming a visual foundation that is important in establishing the character of a room. Casings should be complimentary to the other room trims and proportionately sized – generally 1/3 smaller than the base molding (for example: 3-1/4″ casing would be appropriate for use with a 5-1/4″ baseboard).
Many of our casing profiles are available in variable sizes and with matching base moldings, as individually noted. Decorative plinths and corner blocks can also used with base mouldings, allowing eliminating the need for mitered cuts.
Please keep in mind that many of our moldings may be slightly modified to look similar to your existing pattern. However, if you are unable to locate a particular item, we can affordably replicate an existing profile with just a sketch or sample trim piece. Please contact us with your special requests.
