Tilda With Chanel The Puppy

Good morning my lovely followers!

We had some rain these past few days but Spring is the time of the year I love the most..

And there's nothing better than going out and taking my doggy for a long, long walk..

I've decided to use one of the latest Magnolia images for today's post..
This is Tilda With Chanel The Puppy from the Animals Of The Year Collection 2014..

I made a cute little pocket tag..

The papers are from Maja Design.. They are all from the Sofiero collection..

The base is made out of kraft paper..
The Dream Tag behind the image is a Magnolia Doohickey die..
I've stamped the paper with the two heart stamps from the latest StampClub Kit..
I've used the same two stamps around the image too..

I used some white Shabby Seam Binding on top and I just had to use this gorgeous butterfly charm again.. I've noticed that I'm kinda obsessed with butterflies lately..

I've also added lots of berries and WOC and Kort & Godt flowers..
The postmark is also a Magnolia stamp..
There's some cheesecloth here and there to add some more texture and lots of pearls everywhere..

And here are some more flowers and berries..

One of my favourite laces is this one.. It's stunning, right?
This is the Champagne one.. Gorgeous colour..
All the paper edges are distressed and machine sewn..
The live laugh love charm is from my stash..
I've applied some gesso all over the place..

The image stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
I use both, the ink pads and reinkers..

I've also used some Liquid Pearls around it and some Stickles on the bows and skirt..
I use an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen for the highlights..

Well.. That's it!

Tilda With Egg and Chicken

Oh my.. It's March already..

Where does the time go???

Here's my newest creation..

I have to warn you.. These are not the colours I usually use..

There are some that I'm just scared of.. And yellow is one of them..

But how could I not use the new Pion Design A Day In May papers..

They are just gorgeous..

And perfect for this Easter project..

This is a pocket tag..

I got the new Magnolia Ink Magazine (No1/2014) the other day and there was this fantastic step by step tutorial.. I just had to try it out..

The base is made out of kraft paper.. 

Only now I realize that I forgot to take a pic of the inside.. Oh my..

Now let's take a look at some of the details..

I love this wonderful charm.. Just perfect for my easter projects..

The textured papers are from Papermania..

The ribbon used to tie everything up is from my stash..

Of course there are lots of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers all over the place and a small doily tucked under there..

I've used my Spellbinders Ovals to cut the image out and then a Scalloped Oval under that..

Then there's this fantastic lace and the Shabby Pearl Rose Organza Trim..

I've added a bit of cheesecloth under all those layers and tons of pearls..

The flowers and other random parts of the tag are covered with Gesso..

All the paper edges are distressed using a Tim Holtz tool and machine sewn..

This is Tilda With Egg and Chicken from the Little Easter Collection 2013..

I'm glad I finally had the chance to colour her.. She's gorgeous..

The Chicken Wire I used around her is from that same collection..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..

I've added some Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint on the eggs, Stickles on her dress and Liquid Pearls all around and on the image..

The white spots on her cheeks are made using an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen..

It's nice to make something different from time to time.. LOL!
