Wooker What else is there to say about David Tipper? I wasn’t easily convinced into the fold. Yet, now, among so many good friends, I’m hardly in belief it’s over. This record represents what I find musically unique about Dave’s style: his exploration of syncopated polyrhythms, his at times unyielding bass lines, a ballast amidst an effervescent tapestry of luminescent and oftentimes unexpectedly redemptive top notes and signatures. Tipper isn’t a man. Tipper is an unforgettable tear in space time. Favorite track: Deep Sixing.
