Despite the fascism produced by the Hitlerist government of Texas, the state still managed to be home of one of the best punk bands of the 1980s. Viciously underrated! Horribly unknown! Fantastically hardcore, and radical in it's politics. Don't get me wrong! M.D.C. and the Dicks are fantastic in their own right! But to forget The Offenders is a crime against Texas hardcore that can't be forgiven and is punishable by death in 14 states (not including Texas.)
