Part two of Tsuba’s special 5 Years of Tsuba split EP features brand new tracks from label regulars Ethyl & Huxley, Federico Molinari & Christian Burkhardt, Kevin Griffiths & Justin Drake and Bearweasel.

First up, Manheim’s Federico Molinari & Christian Burkhardt of Oslo Recordings fame deliver rumbling tech-houser, ‘Tamala’. Creeping fluidly from a staccato funk to a rolling groove ‘Tamala’ is the sort of cut that has made Molinari & Burkhardt a favourite of ‘floors worldwide.

London’s Ethyl & Huxley step to the plate next with ‘Reflexions’. As you’d expect from a duo who have captured the imaginations of just about every deep house jock worth their salt, ‘Reflexions’ is fathoms deep but has a weighty, powerful early 90’s grunt about it.

Label boss Kevin Griffiths pairs up with Peace Division legend Justin Drake for the heady, late-night frug of ‘Midnight Special’.

Staines-based upstarts Bearweasel close the package with ‘5 Year Old Vintage Glass Suit’, a laid back, otherworldly slice of horizontal house displaying the duo’s more melodic side.
