NYC Wedding and Events Florist on Instagram: "Tips from a florist — Using tall branches with flowers might seem a little intimidating but follow these tips: 1. Prep and clean all of the stems of your flowers before you start arranging. 2. Use chicken wire or bent curly willow to place inside of the vase to help hold your stems into place. 3. Frame out the main shape and height with the branches 4. Use the thickest and hardest stems first (woody stems like roses) 5. Add in the softer stems like lisianthus and ranunculus last. 6. Place into a clean vase. Give it a try! 120 not necessary. Who else is so happy it’s tulip season? #tulips #tulipseason #floristsofinstagram #floraldesign #rachelchofloral"
NYC Wedding and Events Florist on Instagram: "Peony Part II. Recipe: 4 hydrangea, 10 peonies, 2-3 bupleurum Most frequently asked question: Why the sprite + bleach? Here it is! Lemon soda is great for its citric acid and sugar to help nourish the flowers, and the bleach will kill the bacteria in the water 🔪 Same concept as the last video which you should check out cuz it’s simpler. But here are the steps: 1. Leaf line the vase 2. Criss cross the hydrangea stems 3. Plug in peonies all around, in and around the hydrangeas. 4. Add your textural cute greenery or filler accent 5. Save, Like, Share, and Follow for more flower arranging 🫶"
