If I have tahini on hand I will add in 1/4 cup, but if you don’t have any you can skip it and the hummus is still delicious & creamy! Ingredients: - 15 oz can chickpeas - 1/4 cup liquid from the can - 2 tbsp olive oil - 1 tbsp lemon juice - 1 tsp minced garlic - 1/4 tsp cumin - 1/4 tsp paprika - 1/2 tsp salt - 2 ice cubes - optional: 1/4 cup tahini How to: - Drain the chickpeas but save the liquid from the can - Rinse the chickpeas in a strainer - Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend for 30 seconds, then scrape down the sides and blend for 30 more seconds until hu

In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water or broth (and a pinch of salt) to a boil, then add the lentils, reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 mins or until they are softened and almost falling apart. Drain. To your blender or food processor, add your cooked lentils, garlic cloves, salt, and lemon juice and blend until smooth.
