Sarah Ahn | Korean Cooking 🇰🇷 on Instagram: "Avocado Jang aka Marinated Avocados. My mom developed this recipe when avocados became a craze in Korea (it’s a fairly new produce to Korea, it only got really popular and accessible in the 2010s). I remember my relatives from Korea came over in 2008 and were fascinated by how we ate avocados. Fun recipes like this came about and made eating avocados more fun and diverse especially within the Korean cuisine. Find this recipe and its full story in our cookbook, UMMA, available for preorder at the link in bio. Or comment UMMA, and I’ll message you the preorder links! 🥑 To make the marinade, you just need some water, plum extract syrup, soy sauce, and sugar. Basic ingredients. Enjoy with rice and eggs, but that’s just one idea."

Sweety Craft on Instagram: "Here’s a great recipe for vegan “salmon” made from carrots – a perfect alternative to cured fish! Ingredients: 1 large carrots 4 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option) 2-3 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp smoked paprika 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice ½ tsp sea salt 1-2 nori (ground seaweed for a sea-like flavor) 1 tsp liquid smoke (optional, for a smoky taste) Instructions: 1. Peel the carrots and slice them into thin, long strips (like smoked salmon slices). A vegetable peeler works best for this. 2. Mix all the ingredients: soy sauce, olive oil, vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, nori, and liquid smoke. 4. Pl
